ANIMALS AND PEOPLE PAINTING WORKSHOP OFFERED AT THE GUILD
The Creative Arts Guild’s visual arts program is offering a one day Animals and People painting workshop this Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. taught by Guild instructor Bradley Wilson. The focus of the workshop is animals and people. The workshop is open to all ages at all skill levels.
The workshop instructor, Mr. Wilson, has created a curriculum for the final in his series of painting workshops that emphasize creative interpretation using the versatile medium of acrylic paint. The day will include a number of techniques, application materials and working methods. Reference materials will be provided but students may bring their own materials as well.
With an M.F.A. and B.F.A. in painting, Mr. Wilson brings a strong educational background to his workshops and classes at the Guild. He currently teaches at the Creative Arts Guild, Northwestern Technical College, and Miller-Motte Technical College. In addition to his busy schedule, he participates regularly in area exhibitions, was the winner of The Design Award from Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art in Nashville and is represented at In-Town Gallery in Chattanooga.
Terry Tomasello, Guild Executive Director states, “Bradley has been incredibly instrumental in growing our visual arts department. We’ve added art classes to accommodate the numerous and ongoing requests for his services from our community!”
Animals and People Workshop will be held in the Guild’s art studio from 9 to 5 this coming Saturday. The fee for the one day workshop is $80 for members and $90 for non-members.
