Celebración
Call for Entries
The Creative Arts Guild of Dalton, Georgia is accepting entries for the exhibit “Celebración.” The exhibit will run May 2- June 20, 2008. An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 2, 5:30-7:00 pm. This exhibit is a chance for artists to celebrate Hispanic/Latino heritage and its influence upon the art world and our community.
Artists, professional and amateur, young and old, are invited to submit their original artwork. All artists are invited to submit their original paintings, sculpture, drawings, photography, fiber and fine art prints (intaglio, aquatint, dry point, litho). All two dimensional works must be properly equipped for hanging and all three dimensional works should have all hardware needed for support. There is no entry fee for this exhibit and there are also no limits on entries. Artwork that has been previously exhibited at the Creative Arts Guild will not be accepted into the exhibit
The exhibit is juried by a committee, composed of area artists and a select group of the Creative Arts Guild Board of Directors and Staff.
All artwork can be submitted digitally or on traditional slides with a SASE to: meganr@creativeartsguild.org or

Megan RoddenberryMegan is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Megan is new to the area and brings a wealth of talent. She has experience in art instruction for varied age groups. As an artist, Megan has had her work exhibited in a number of juried shows and has won an award at the Appalachian Art Show at the Renaissance Center in Johnson City TN. Megan teaches in many mediums, including pastels oils and pen and ink.. |

Nichole White Nicole graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2000. At the Columbus college of Art and Design, she studied a wide variety of art forms. Her main focus was on Ceramic sculpture, but has great interest in Painting. She has taught art at the Arts Academy located in Lorain, Ohio and Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her teaching qualifications, Nicole is also a very talented artist in her own right. |
