Guild Gymnastics Annual Spring Expo

Friday, May 19th: 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 20 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Admission: $5 at the door

 

The Creative Arts Guild’s Gymnastics Program presents its Annual Spring EXPO to display the skills and progress of the program’s many talented students.  Three scheduled sessions will be featuring all students in the Recreational and Competitive Team programs - about 165 kids ranging from 18 months to 16 years old.  The routines are true performance numbers accompanied by music and the participants will be wearing colorful leotards as they work their sets.  This is a chance for students to show off their skills and routines that they have learned and practiced all year and which show the progression of individual and team skill difficulty levels.  

Tumbling Levels 2 & 3, ages 5 and up, will present their exhibition on Friday evening, May 19th, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.  Preschoolers, 2 and 3 year-olds, perform on Saturday morning from 9:00 am – 10:30 am; and Level 1 students, ages 5 and up, will showcase their skills from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm the same day.  All three sessions will be held at the Guild Dance, Gymnastics and Cheer Center, 2518 Cleveland Hwy (beside Tractor Supply), in Dalton. 

This is a great opportunity to observe three terrific gymnastics demonstrations that you and your friends and family can enjoy; and, an opportunity for interested kids to see what fun tumbling and gymnastics classes can be. The charge is $2.00 but kids under 3 get in free! Why not stop in during one of these sessions and watch these kids in action.  And, maybe sign a child or teen up for one of our summer classes or camps.  

The Guild Gymnastics Team does performances at many special events both in the community and at our facilities each year. You can catch them at local favorites such as Ballyhoo, Creative Arts Guild's FESTIVAL, and the annual Dalton Christmas Pbesideesides our annual Guild Gymnastics Expo.
