Creative Arts Guild welcomes Matthew Nedvin – tenor and Jennifer Williams – pianist for a free concert.

Matthew has been featured as a soloist with several instrumental and vocal ensembles, performing repertoire ranging from Rossini to the Beatles. He has won several competitions, including the Song of the Seven Hills and the GA Literary Men’s Solo competitions. He is also fond of singing in men’s quartets and has twice won the GA Literary Men’s Quartet competition. Raised in Georgia, Matthew is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the Eastman School of Music. He will study in Austria this summer.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Shorter University and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Georgia. She is currently serving as the pianist of Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Cartersville. She has accompanied and conducted numerous honor choirs throughout the state and is honored to accompany Matthew, who is one of her former students.

The free concert will be held Friday, June 16th at 7:30pm in the Jonas Performance Hall of the Creative Arts Guild, located at 520 West Waugh Street in Dalton. Musical selections will include early American songs, songs by Stephen Foster, and selections from musical theatre.
